Introverts and Introversion

Introverts and introversion have been much-discussed topics lately.  So for my inaugural bibliography, I decided to create a brief bibliography geared toward introverts who are dealing with their introversion.

I wondered about all the fuss about introversion for a while -- until I saw the Merriam-Webster Online dictionary definition of introversion.  Their first substantive definition of introversion makes it sound like introverts are self-absorbed navel-gazers.  It says that introversion is
the state of or tendency toward being wholly or predominantly concerned with and interested in one's own mental life.
I know introverts.  Heck, I am an introvert, and this just seems wrong to me.  Perhaps this is some kind of mistake made by someone writing about something they know nothing about, but it really brought home how much introverts are misunderstood in modern Western culture.  So I made a bibliography of resources to help introverts (and those who love them) in dealing  with their introversion.
